The magnificent event is about to start soon.
Welcome message from the chairs,
It is our pleasure and privilege to welcome you to “the 2nd Spring Symposium on Advances in Gastrointestinal Cancer Care”, hosted by “the Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University Atakent Hospital Gastrointestinal Oncology Unit” on 28th of February & 1st of March 2025.
We look forward to welcoming all the caregivers, scientists, and industry representatives, who are interested in gastrointestinal cancer, to our academic event including a monothematic, hybrid and interactive educational meeting entitled “Adenocarcinoma of the Gastroesophageal Junction Multidisci- plinary Perspectives in Navigating Complexities and Cure”.
The advances and challenges in the treatment of adenocarcinoma of the gastroesophageal junction will be discussed in a multidisci- plinary setting by international and national experts.
The conference will be held at the Acibadem University Kerem Aydinlar Campus, Atasehir/Istanbul, Türkiye.
The aim of this international meeting is to bring together leading experts, researchers, and health- care professionals who are interested in adenocarcinoma of the gastroesophageal junction to share insights, advancements, and to create collaborative project opportunities. On the first day the conference will focus on early cancers of the gastroesophageal junction, immunotherapy, periop- erative chemotherapy & chemo/radiotherapy for gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma and role of surgery in this setting, as well.
On the second day we will explore the intricate relationships between cancer, microbiota, and stress. We will discuss topics ranging from the oncobiome and epigenetics to the role of the mind-gut axis in cancer pathogenesis. The event will also feature sessions on innovative therapies, including artificial intelligence applications, nursing perspectives, and pelvic floor physiotherapy for gastrointestinal cancer patients.
Join us as we uncover the actors behind the scenes of cancer progression and management, bridging the gap between research and clinical care. This will be an excellent opportunity for professional and academic networking at national and international level, providing a uniqe platform for learning, discussion and collaboration.
